Beeswax has one of the highest melting points of any wax used in candle-making — around 62–65°C. This means it burns slower and longer than paraffin, soy, or coconut wax.
A beeswax candle that costs more upfront will typically outlast two or three paraffin candles of the same size. Over time, beeswax is the economical choice.

Beeswax holds fragrance differently from paraffin. Because it burns at a higher temperature and more slowly, the fragrance oils volatilise more gradually, giving you a more consistent, long-lasting scent throw.
With paraffin, you often get a blast of scent followed by an abrupt drop-off. With beeswax, the fragrance evolves — opening notes, heart notes, base notes — like a fine perfume on skin.
